College Book Prizes are awarded to students who obtain outstanding academic performance in the College Diploma and Advanced Diploma examinations.
The value
of College Book Prizes are as follows:

Bachelor of Science
Perpetual Cup
The Perpetual Cup is awarded to the
student who upon having completed the
requirements for the award of the
Degree of Bachelor of Science of
Campbell University is selected by the
Head and Faculty as the most
outstanding student of the senior class
considering academic achievement,
character, integrity and leadership
potential.
Bachelor of Science Subject Prizes
A subject prize is awarded to the final year student who has demonstrated the best performance the respective subject.
The prizes for the subjects are as

Dr Teh Hock Heng Memorial Prize
in Physics
Introduction
The Dr Teh Hock Heng Memorial Prize
in Physics was established by the
College Council in memory of the late
Dr Teh in recognition of his dedicated
services to the College. The late Dr Teh
was an eminent academician in the
field of Physics who had served in the
College Council from the
founding of the College until 1983.

The Prize is of the value of RM500 in cash.

The Prize is awarded annually to the graduating
student who is adjudged to have attained the best standard in Physics
in the Advanced Diploma in Science Examination.

The Recipient will be decided by a Committee of Award
comprising the Head of School concerned as Chairman and staff members
in the Physics and Microelectronics Division of the School. The Committee
will be guided by the performance of the candidate in the Final Advanced
Diploma Examination as well as the Coursework undertaken.

The Prize is awarded on the condition that
the candidate is of good conduct, and is presenting himself for the
first time for the Final Year Examination.

To be eligible for the award, a candidate must
have attended the Advanced Diploma in Science course for two years.

If in any year, in the opinion of the Committee,
no candidate is deemed worthy of the Prize, it will not be awarded
in that year.

Council may amend these regulations or any
part thereof as it deems fit.
Professor Chin Fung Kee Memorial Prize in Building
Introduction
The Professor Chin Fung Kee Memorial Prize in Building
was established by the College Council in memory of the
late Professor Chin in recognition of his dedicated
services to the College. The late Professor Chin was an
eminent educationist and engineer who had been closely
associated with the College from its very beginning,
having served in the Working Team for Higher Education
Planning and the Interim Council from 1971 to 1972 and
the College Council from 1972 to 1990. He had also
served as External Examiner for the Diploma in
Technology (Building) (restructured to Advanced Diploma
commencing 1998/99 academic year) course from 1973 to
1983.

The Prize is of the value of RM500 in cash.

The Prize is awarded annually to the graduating

Final Year Advanced Diploma in Technology (Building) Examination.

Recipient will be decided by a Committee comprising
the Head of the School concerned as Chairman, and academic staff members
of the Building Division, School of Technology.

The Prize is awarded on the condition that
the candidate is of good conduct, and is presenting himself for the
first time for the Final Year Examination.

If in any year, in the opinion of the Committee,
no candidate is deemed worthy of the Prize, it will not be awarded
in that year.

part thereof as it deems fit.
Madam Tan Lee Ching Memorial Prize
Introduction
"The Madam Tan Lee Ching Memorial Fund" was
established in the School of Pre-University Studies of Tunku Abdul Rahman
College by the students of Upper Form Six Science 2, 1973 in memory of
their late Form and Chemistry Lecturer, Madam Tan Lee Ching.

A memorial prize is awarded annually to the
best student in the School of Pre-University Studies of this College
based on overall performance in the Cambridge Oversea Higher School
Certificate Examination. In the event of a tie, the prize shall be
shared equally.

The investment income from the Fund shall be used
to award the prize, the nature of which shall be in the form of cash,
books or other appropriate items to be decided by the Committee called
"The Madam Tan Lee Ching Memorial Fund Committee".

The
best student or students to be awarded the prize shall be determined
at the sole discretion of the Memorial Fund Committee which comprises
the following membership:

The
Head of School of Pre-University Studies as Chairman |
| (b) |
The Registrar
or his representative as Secretary |
| (c) |
The Bursar or
his representative as Treasurer |
| (d) |
Two
members of the teaching staff of the School of Pre-University
Studies to be appointed by the Head of School of Pre-University
Studies. They are to serve for a period of one year. They
may be reappointed. |
| (e) |
Two
student representatives from the School of Pre-University
Studies, consisting of the Student Welfare Representative
and the Secretary of the Class Representative Committee. They
are to serve for a period of one year. |

In the event of the Cambridge Overseas Higher School
Certificate Examination becoming obsolete, the Memorial Fund Committee
will then award the Prize to the best student in the overall performance
in an equivalent examination.
