Certificate Level IV
This Certificate course is designed to
train school leavers both in computer
theory and applications. Students will
be trained and equipped with the
technical knowledge and skills in
basic computing, which would form
the platform for further education in
software development. This course
also provides computer application
skills transferable to a wide range of
business as well as industries that
involve development or user support. |

| Graduates of the Certificate in
Computer Studies may be promoted
to the Diploma in Science (Business
Information Systems) or (Information
Systems Engineering) at TAR
College.

IT coordinators, assistant
administration officers, web
designers, administration assistants,
end-user support, help desk support,
data entry assistants etc. |
| Minimum Entry Requirements |
| Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) as follows:- | ||
| (i) | 3 credits in any arts / science subjects | |
| (ii) | Pass in Bahasa Malaysia, English Language and Mathematics | |
| OR | ||
| Certificate in Information Technology from TAR College | ||
A pass in the English Language
(1119 Level) course conducted by the Extra-Mural Studies Department
(EMSD) is recognised as satisfying the English Language requirement
for admission to the Certificate course. |
