Advanced Diploma in Commerce (Business Management) cum Professional Part 1 and 2 of ICSA

This programme provides students with broad base knowledge in management, law, accounting, taxation, finance and corporate governance for effective corporate management and administration as well as adherence to corporate governance. It also provides opportunities for students to obtain internationally recognised ICSA professional qualification.

   Academic and Professional Progression

The Advanced Diploma in Commerce (Business Management) is equivalent to a Bachelor Degree.

a)
Graduates of this advanced diploma programme are eligible to claim exemption from the Professional Diploma in Corporate Administration (PDCA) and Professional Part 1 of ICSA Programme - the maximum exemptions granted by the professional body to relevant undergraduate programmes. Graduates can then proceed to sit for Professional Part 2 ICSA programme.
b) Advanced Diploma graduates have been accepted into postgraduate studies in many universities.
c)
The Advanced Diploma in Commerce (Business Management) is recognised as suitable for progression to a Liverpool John Moores University (JMU), UK degree with prior credit. Advanced Diploma graduates of this programme can obtain the BA (Hons) Commerce Degree from JMU by completing the final semester of the programme at the university.
   
   Career Prospects
   

Graduates of the Advanced Diploma cum ICSA with their comprehensive training can seek employment in a wide variety of administrative, management and financial positions both in public and private sectors. The job titles are innumerable but a typical cross-section would include company secretary, corporate administrators, management consultants, corporate managers, compliance officers, tax agents and human resource managers.

 
   Minimum Entry Requirements
   

Diploma in Commerce (Business Management)/ Diploma in Business Studies (Business Administration) from TAR College or other equivalent qualifications.
