Financial Accounting cum ACCA
It specifically prepares students to pursue the ACCA course under Internally Assessed ACCA Fundamentals (Skills Module). TAR College is the ONLY institution outside the United Kingdom and Ireland that is given the approval to run this Internally Assessed course, since 1987. This Internally Assessed course incorporates not only strong technical knowledge but also innovative teaching methods and a strong emphasis on the development of soft skills and attitudes. This broad curriculum has prepared students well to advance into the ACCA External Final Level. The good performance of students in the external examinations of ACCA Final Level has now put TAR College on the Platinum status under the ACCA Approved Learning Partner – Student Tuition Scheme. Management Accounting cum CIMA
These full-time courses enable graduates to claim exemption from or sit for the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) examinations in an effective, flexible and affordable manner. CIMA is one of the recognised chartered bodies of accountants in the United Kingdom. With the relevant practical experience, students who have successfully completed the professional examinations are eligible to apply as associate members of the Institute with designatory letters A.C.M.A. The Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) recognises CIMA qualification for admission into membership. |

The syllabi of the Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Commerce
(Business Management) courses cover adequately the curriculum of
the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA).
These full-time courses enable students to claim exemption from or
sit for the internationally recognised ICSA professional examinations
in an effective, flexible and affordable manner. The ICSA is a leading
recognised professional body for Company Secretaries and
Administrators throughout the world. With the relevant practical
experience in administration, finance, personnel or organisational
work, graduates who have successfully completed the ICSA
examinations are eligible to qualify as associate members of the
Institute with the designatory letters A.C.I.S.
These courses focus on providing specific accounting information
needs through designing and operation of information and reporting
systems tailored to parties external to the organisations.
The focus of the Management Accounting courses is on the
interpretation of both financial and non-financial information for a
range of operational and strategic planning, control, performance
evaluation, problem solving and decision making situations in profit
and non-profit organisations.
