Financial Accounting cum ACCA

These courses focus on providing specific accounting information needs through designing and operation of information and reporting systems tailored to parties external to the organisations.

It specifically prepares students to pursue the ACCA course under Internally Assessed ACCA Fundamentals (Skills Module). TAR College is the ONLY institution outside the United Kingdom and Ireland that is given the approval to run this Internally Assessed course, since 1987. This Internally Assessed course incorporates not only strong technical knowledge but also innovative teaching methods and a strong emphasis on the development of soft skills and attitudes. This broad curriculum has prepared students well to advance into the ACCA External Final Level. Management Accounting cum CIMA

The focus of the Management Accounting courses is on the interpretation of both financial and non-financial information for a range of operational and strategic planning, control, performance evaluation, problem solving and decision making situations in profit and non-profit organisations.

These full-time courses enable graduates to claim exemption from or sit for the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) examinations in an effective, flexible and affordable manner. CIMA is one of the recognised chartered bodies of accountants in the United Kingdom. With the relevant practical experience, students who have successfully completed the professional examinations are eligible to apply as associate members of the Institute with designatory letters A.C.M.A. The Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) recognises CIMA qualification for admission into membership.
