Advanced Diploma in Commerce (Management Accounting) cum Managerial Level of CIMA

The Advanced Diploma course aims to develop students’ analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills. Students completing the course should possess the intellectual, creative and cognitive powers and the necessary skills required of a professional accountant.

   Academic and Professional Progression

The Advanced Diploma in Commerce (Management Accounting) is equivalent to a Bachelor Degree.
a)
Graduates of the Advanced Diploma course are eligible to claim exemption from the Certificate in Business Accounting and Managerial Levels papers of CIMA examinations - the maximum exemptions granted by the professional body to relevant undergraduate programmes.
b)
Advanced Diploma graduates have been accepted into postgraduate studies in many universities.
c)
The Advanced Diploma in Commerce (Management Accounting) is recognised as suitable for progression to a Sheffield Hallam University (SHU), UK degree with prior credit. Advanced Diploma graduates of this programme can obtain the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance Degree from SHU by completing the final semester of the programme at the university.

   Minimum Entry Requirements

Diploma in Commerce (Management Accounting)/Diploma in Business Studies (Accounting) from TAR College or other equivalent qualifications.
