Introduction

The School of Technology was established in 1972. The School currently offers full-time courses at Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma levels. The course structures and syllabus of the Advanced Diploma and Diploma courses are so designed and arranged that students may sit for internationally recognised professional examinations or seek exemptions from such examinations. Engineering Diploma holders of the School are exempted from the Part 1 (Certificate) of the Engineering Council, United Kingdom examination. The Advanced Diploma in Technology (Building) course of the School is fully accredited by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) of United Kingdom. The Diploma in Technology (Quantity Surveying) course is accredited by the Board of Quantity Surveyors, Malaysia (BQSM) and recognised as an approved Quantity Surveying sub-professional qualification.
