Electronic Engineering
This Certificate course aims to produce electronic engineering technicians with a sound knowledge in electronic devices, circuits and systems. The course is designed so that students are sufficiently exposed to broad-based engineering skills through computer aided design and workshop practices.
Graduates of this course would have acquired sufficient foundation studies to pursue higher qualification in electronic engineering and telecommunications.

Most graduates of the Certificate in Technology (Electronic Engineering) are employed by manufacturing firms producing semiconductor or other electronic components, electronic and telecommunication equipment, electrical and electronic consumer products or by computer firms.
| Minimum Entry Requirements |
| Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) as follows:- | |
| (i) | 3 credits in any technical/science/arts subjects |
| (ii) | Pass in Bahasa Malaysia, English Language and Mathematics |
| Students must have taken Additional Mathematics and Physics. | |
A pass in the English Language
(1119 Level) course conducted by
the Extra-Mural Studies
Department (EMSD) is recognised
as satisfying the English Language
requirement for admission to the
Certificate course. |
