Property Management
This Diploma course aims to produce graduates who will meet the increasing demand for personnel or staff trained at the sub-professional level in order to provide quality services that will enhance the convenience, comfort and safety of tenants, occupants and owners of buildings.
Students of this Diploma course will be trained in the areas of building construction, maintenance and services, safety and health requirements, basic accounting, communication and property management techniques.

| Academic and Professional Progression |
The standard of the Diploma in
Technology (Property Management) is equivalent to the 1st year of
a relevant Bachelor Degree. Graduates can further their studies
to: |

| a) | Advanced Diploma in Technology
(Property Management) at TAR College. |
| b) | Relevant Bachelor (Honours) Degree
courses at Universiti Tunku Abdul
Rahman (UTAR) or other universities on
advanced standing / credit transfer. |
| Career Prospects |
Graduates from this Diploma course may be employed by construction firms, building maintenance companies, facilities management companies, estate agents, housing/property developer and real estate agents.
| Minimum Entry Requirements |
| Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) as follows:- | |
| (i) | 5 credit which must include Mathematics |
| (ii) | Pass in English Language |
Applicants who only have a pass in SPM Bahasa
Malaysia will be required to obtain a credit in SPM
Bahasa Malaysia or equivalent before the award of
Diploma. |

A pass in the English
Language (1119 Level) course conducted by the Extra-Mural Studies Department (EMSD) is
recognised as satisfying the English Language requirement for admission
to the Diploma course |
