Advanced Diploma in Mass Communication (Graphic Design)
 
The Advanced Diploma in Mass Communication (Graphic Design) course aims to enhance students' practical skills in the usage and manipulation of designs software, and to assist them in fulfilling corporate managerial roles in creative designs, both in view of the growth of Internet-based electronics-commerce transactions. Students will also learn specialised design skills and software, including infographics, digital imaging, web-based desktop publishing, corporate identity and basic animation.
 
 
    Academic and Professional Progression
 
The Advanced Diploma in Mass Communication (Broadcast Communication) is equivalent to a Bachelor Degree.
a) 
Advanced Diploma graduates can pursue their 12-month Master of Arts in Communication, Culture and Media in Coventry University, UK.
b) 
The Advanced Diploma in Mass Communication (Graphic Design) is recognised as suitable for progression to a Liverpool John Moores University (JMU), UK degree with prior credit. Advanced Diploma graduates of this programme can obtain the BA (Hons) Mass Communication Degree from JMU by completing the final semester (three months) of the programme at the university.
 
    Career Prospects
 
Advanced Diploma graduates will acquire higher competitiveness in graphic design, advertising and marketing organisations and, in addition, be able to meet challenges of the new electronic media, in animations, web-site designs and support staff managing E-commerce companies.
 
    Minimum Entry Requirements
 
Diploma in Mass Communication (Graphic Design) from TAR College or other equivalent qualifications.
