The objective of the Certificate in
Fashion Design course is to provide
exposure to students of the fashion
industry in a variety of areas and
increase enhancement or growth of
skills. Another objective of the course
is to allow flexibility to students to
take courses which suit his/her
particular goals.
Academic Progression
Graduates can proceed to the
corresponding Diploma at TAR
College.
Career Prospects
Students completing this course are
prepared for entry-level positions in
industries such as illustrators,
assistant designers, pattern makers,
graders, markers, and cutters.
Minimum Entry Requirements
Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) as follows:-
(i)
3 credit passes in any arts / science subjects
(ii)
Pass in Bahasa Melayu and English Language
A pass in the
General English course conducted by the Extra-Mural Studies Department
(EMSD) is recognised as satisfying the English Language requirement
for admission to the Certificate course.
