The standard of the Diploma in Mass
Communication (Public Relations) is
equivalent to the 1st or even 2nd year of a
relevant Bachelor Degree. Graduates can
further their studies to: |

Advanced Diploma in Mass Communication (Public Relations)
at TAR College. |
| b) |
Relevant Bachelor (Honours) Degree
courses at Universiti Tunku Abdul
Rahman (UTAR) or other universities on
advanced standing / credit transfer. |

Diploma graduates may find employment in public relations departments,
advertising agencies, marketing, human resources, events management,
consulting firms, hotels and various service industries. |

| ^ Students who do not have a credit pass
in SPM Bahasa Melayu must complete and pass AEMS1022 Bahasa Melayu |

| A pass in the
General English course conducted by the Extra-Mural Studies Department
(EMSD) is recognised as satisfying the English Language requirement
for admission to the Diploma course. |
