The following fee schedules will be in effect for the 2015/2016 Academic Year commencing April/May 2015 and will be subject to annual review.
 
 
Cambridge GCE A Level
Fees payable at time of registration

In addition to the above fees, students are required to pay the A Level Examination Fee (Cambridge International Examination) of approximately RM3,500.

In addition to the above fees, students who are taking professional examination are required to pay additional fees for professional examinations.

Other fees may be chargeable for dual award, study abroad, special projects, learning material, field trip and any external accreditation.

Payment of Fees
1. Fees payable at the time of registration must be paid before or on the date stipulated in the letter of offer.
   
2. Fees payable at the beginning of each subsequent semester, unless otherwise specified, must be paid within two weeks from the date of the commencement of the semester, failing which the students shall be withdrawn without further notification. For withdrawal due to non-payment of fees, the withdrawal date shall be the commencement date of the semester.
   
3. Students will be advised on the total fees payable in their student bills or notices displayed on the Faculty noticeboards/University College Intranet.
   
4. A late fee of RM10.00 per week or part thereof with effect from the last day for fee payment as stated in the student bills will be imposed on students who do not pay on or before the due date.
   
5. Unless otherwise specified, payment of fees must be made by Bank Draft / Money Order in favour of ‘Kolej Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman‘.
   
6. Students who wish to terminate their studies with the University College shall notify the Registrar in writing; failure to do so will render them liable to all fees due to the University College.
 
Refund of Fees Conditional Offer
1. All fees paid are strictly non-refundable and are subject to the following refund policy.
   
2. Refund of 1st Payment for new student who withdraws
   
  2.1 Withdrawal BEFORE Commencement Date of the Programme
  If notification of withdrawal is received before the commencement date of the programme:
  i) 50% of Facilities & Resource Fee paid will be refunded.
  ii) Deposit paid will be refunded.
  iii) Commitment Fee and Insurance Premium are strictly non-refundable.
   
  2.2 Withdrawal AFTER Commencement Date of the Programme
  There is strictly no refund of all fees and Deposit paid if notification of withdrawal is received after the commencement date of the programme.
   
  2.3 For students who pay AFTER the commencement date of the programme, there is strictly no refund of all fees and Deposit paid upon withdrawal from the programme.
   
3. Refund of 1st Payment Upon Release of Actual SPM/ O Level/ Equivalent Examination Results
   
  3.1 Student meets the entry requirement of programme of study but does not accept the full offer of study
  All fees and Deposit paid shall be forfeited.
   
  3.2 Student fails to meet entry requirement of programme of study and does not accept the offer to another programme
  The Deposit paid shall be refunded. All other fees paid are non-refundable.
   
  3.3 Student fails to meet entry requirement of any programme of study
  The Deposit paid by the student shall be refunded. All other fees paid are non-refundable.
   
  3.4 Student who fails to submit the SPM Examination result slip within one week after the release of results
  All fees and Deposit paid shall be forfeited.
   
4. Save and except for Clauses 2 and 3 above; there shall be no refund of any other fees and Deposit paid.
   
5. All notification of withdrawal must be made in writing.
   
6. Refund of Caution Money
  Caution Money (less any liabilities) may only be refunded on application after a student has completed or withdrawn from his/her last programme of study at the University College. The application for the refund shall be made within one year from the date of completion or withdrawal from the University College, failing which, the said caution money shall be transferred and donated to TARC Student Loan Fund and/or its permitted assigns.
 
REFUND OF FEES
1. All fees paid are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
   
2. Refund of Fees for Newly Registered Student Who Withdraws.
   
  2.1 Withdrawal BEFORE Commencement Date of the Programme
  If notification of withdrawal is received before the commencement date of programme, FIFTY PERCENT (50%) of the amount of Tuition Fee, Special Administration Fee, Examination Fee, Laboratory / Workshop Fee and Facilities & Resource Fee paid by the student may be refunded.
   
  Registration Fee and Orientation & Activity Fee are strictly non-refundable.
   
  2.2 Withdrawal AFTER Commencement Date of the Programme
  There is strictly no refund of all fees paid if notification of withdrawal is received after the commencement date of the programme.
   
  2.3 For student who pay and register AFTER the commencement date of the programme, there is strictly no refund of all fees paid upon withdrawal from the programme.
   
  2.4 Save and except for Clause 2.1 above and Clause 3 below; there shall be no refund of any other fees paid.
   
  2.5 All notification of withdrawal must be made in writing.
   
3. Caution money (less any liabilities) may only be refunded on application after a student has completed or withdrawn from his/herlast programme of study at the University College. The application for the refund shall be made within one year from the date of completion or withdrawal from the University College, failing which, the said caution money shall be transferred and donated to TARC Student Loan Fund/or its permitted assigns.
 
Fees for Resit Examination / Repeating Course(s)
A student shall pay RM95.00 per course to resit an examination. A student who repeats one or more courses shall pay tuition fee at the prevailing rate per credit for the repeating course(s).
 
Fees for Award Assessment

Award Assessment fee of RM60.00 (Foundation level), RM80.00 (Diploma level) and RM100.00 (Bachelor Degree level) will be payable in the final year of studies.

(Note: The University College reserves the right to revise fees from time to time without prior notice. As and when fees are revised, the new fees will apply to all existing and new students.)
