   Student Welfare Committee Talk "Coping with Stress"
Counselors from KL Main Campus conducted a workshop on ‘Coping with Stress’ on 5 December 2006. The response was overwhelming, with more than 70% of the Pahang Branch students signing up for the workshop. Students shared their experience through out the workshop and learned some relaxation techniques to counter their stress. Students find the talk interesting.
 
   Dato' Seri Ong Ka Ting Visit
Students from the Pahang Branch Campus have been invited to be eyewitnesses to the opening of a new entrance to the New Village in Karak on 28 August 2006. This memorable event was officiated by Dato' Seri Ong Ka Ting, Chairman of MCA and Minister of Housing & Local Government and Dato' Sri Chan Kong Choy, Deputy Chairman of MCA and Minister of Transportation. The students joined the VIPs on the village tour and were feasted with an array of local delicacies followed by a group picture with the VIPs.
 
   Tug-Of-War Competition 2006
 
On 8 August 2006, the Student Sports Committee of the Pahang Branch Campus organized a tug-of-war competition. The aim of the event is to promote unity and togetherness within the campus. It was a day that brought laughter, fun, competitiveness, fellowship and the spirit of goodwill to students. This physically challenging activity ended with the second year Accounting students winning the championship title.
 
   Buddhist & Hindu Society Fund Raising
The Buddhist and Hindu Societies of the Pahang Branch Campus both set about raising funds for a good cause on the 12th and 13th of August 2005 respectively. The Buddhist Society had counters selling a variety of vegetarian food, red bean lotus, “Royal Jelly” drink, Chinese desserts, moon cakes, lanterns, candles while the Hindu Society sold coconut water. The response from students, lecturers and the public was very encouraging. The fund raising activity also brought about togetherness among members of the societies. TAR College firmly believes that helping others who are in need is an important concern.
 
   ARU Members Pick Up Skills In Recruitment Training Exercise
 
32 members of the Army Reserve Unit (ARU) of the Pahang Branch Campus participated in a 14-day basic recruitment training exercise, held from 13 September 2004 to 26 September 2004 at Raub, Pahang. The training was conducted by members of the 505th Regiment of Askar Wataniah.

It had been tough days for the participating members, but all agreed that the skills and knowledge gained during the training were invaluable. They learnt military discipline, marching and weapon handling.
