Co-curricular Programmes

Tunku Abdul Rahman College believes in providing holistic education. The moral, social and physical aspects of a student's life are as important as the student's academic and intellectual development.

In general the implementation of this programme would enable the College to produce graduates who are able to face life's challenges.

The programme is specially designed:

  • To develop responsible citizens and foster national unity.

  • To develop understanding between different cultures.

  • To develop student’s physical, spiritual and emotional health.

  • To develop student’s soft skills.

Students are required to complete and pass at least two credit hours in the co-curricular programmes before they can graduate with an award from the College.

Students taking the co-curricular programmes will be graded. However, the grades will not contribute to the GPA and CGPA.

Students have six categories to choose from, depending on their own field of interests. They are:

  1. Games / Sports
  2. Art of Self Defence
  3. Culture
  4. Uniform Groups
