From 5 September to 7 September 2025

A staff member of TAR UMT was invited as a speaker at the 5th International Forum of NFEES on ASEAN-China of Resilience, Sustainability and the 2nd Early Career Editorial Board Inaugural Meeting of EER, held at Tianjin University from 5 to 7 September 2025. The events provided a platform to discuss resilience and sustainability, and offered opportunities for academic networking and collaboration.

From 21 July 2023 to 31 August 2023

An online talk collaborated between TAR UMT and Tianjin University were held with the title of the “Sustainable Development and Global Competency” between 21 July 2023 and 31 August 2023.

2022

From 22 August 2022 to 1 September 2022

22 students from TAR UMT participated in the Online Summer School Programme 2022 organised by Tianjin University in between 22 August 2022 and 1 September 2022.  The Online Summer School Programme 2022 with the theme “Achieving Carbon Neutrality with Technology” provides students who are interested in this field and related areas to attend classes conducted by the experts from China. This online summer programme allows students to interact with professors and students from different countries while simultaneously enjoying the academic atmosphere without having to travel.
