TAR UMT organised a one-week study tour to NNU from 17 to 23 October 2025. The participating students engaged in various cultural activities, hands-on workshops, and sightseeing excursions, which provided them with valuable exposure to Chinese culture and academic experiences.

Senior officials from TAR UMT visited NNU on 18 May 2025 as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the partnership established through the Memorandum of Understanding signed in November 2024. The visit included discussions on potential collaboration in student and staff exchange, research, and academic programmes.

The Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation in Education between TAR UMT and NNU was signed on 26 November 2024.  TAR UMT and NNU were agreed to develop, promote and cooperate with one another in various activities such as: sharing of academic knowledge and best practices; staff and student engagements; and fostering partnerships and long term relationships with one another.
