Staff from TUS was invited to be the guest lecturer, offering insights on investment decision-making, covering both financial and non-financial considerations. Students actively engaged in a case study and an investor game to gain practical investment experience.

23 May 2023

The Irish Ambassador and Senior Officials of TUS visited TAR UMT on 23 May 2023 to further explore on student exchange, staff exchange, collaboration on research/ scholarly activities, academic programme collaboration and etc,.

TAR UMT and TUS also signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Articulation Agreement to align both institutions' shared objectives of enhancing and advancing higher education opportunities in Malaysia and Ireland. Through these agreements, they seek to promote mutual growth and development in the academic sphere between the two countries.

14 March 2023

Staff from TUS was invited to be the guest lecturer to deliver teaching to students in a design and construction workshop at TAR UMT.

 

From 31 January 2023 to 22 May 2023

Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest (TUS) offered four student mobility places for TAR UMT students, under TUS-Limerick Eramus Exchange Programme, to study at TUS Moylish Campus for a semester from January to May 2023.

1 October 2021

Athlone Institute of Technology and Limerick Institute of Technology merged together to form the Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest (TUS), a public technological university with six campuses across the midlands and mid-west regions of Ireland on 1 October 2021.
