2025 |
From 14 June to 11 July 2025 TAR UMT conducted a 28-day Summer Programme from 14 June to 11 July 2025 for international students from Coventry University, De Montfort University, and Teesside University. The programme provided students with the opportunity to experience Malaysian culture through cultural activities, hands-on workshops, student interaction sessions, and team-building activities. Participants also visited TAR UMT’s branch campuses in Perak and Penang, which further enriched their learning and cultural exposure.

2024 |
From 15 June 2024 to 12 July 2024 CPE organized a 28-day summer programme from 15 June 2024 to 12 July 2024, designed for international students from Coventry University, De Montfort University, and Teesside University in the UK, as well as Macao University of Science and Technology and China High School in China who were interested in applying for the Turing Scheme. Participants engaged in cultural activities, workshops, student interactions, team-building exercises, and a visit to TAR UMT's Kampar campus. This collaborative initiative aimed to provide enriching experiences, fostered academic and personal growth, and facilitated meaningful exchanges among students from these diverse educational institutions.

From 5 June 2023 to 2 July 2023 A group of TU students joined a study tour to TAR UMT from 5 June 2023 to 2 July 2023. This 4-weeks customised study tour for students from TU to have an insight and experience about the culture, lifestyle, history, languages and society of Malaysia. 15 May 2023 The Memorandum of Agreement between Teesside University and TAR UMT was signed on 15 May 2023. Both parties have agreed to sign this agreement to promote the TAR UMT summer programme from 5 June 2023 to 2 July 2023 for Teesside University’s students. |

From 27 June to 24 July 2022 A group of TU students joined a study tour to TAR UMT from 27 June to 24 July 2022. This 4-weeks customised study tour for students from TU to know and experience the lifestyle and culture of Malaysia.

2020 |
23 November 2020 The International Student Recruitment Agency Agreement between Teesside University and TAR UMT was signed on 23 November 2020. Both Parties have agreed that TAR UMT shall engage with Teesside University in respect of recruiting international students and carrying out marketing and promotional services as set out and in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.
