2025 |
From 18 November 2025 to 9 December 2025 TAR UMT and AU, jointly conducted an online lecture series from 18 November to 9 December 2025 as part of their academic collaboration. Held every Tuesday, the lecture series featured a range of contemporary topics, including AI in Education, The Modern Classroom, Education and Future Generations, as well as Language, Communication and Technology. The sessions were jointly delivered by eight lecturers, with four from TAR UMT and four from AU, providing students with diverse perspectives and enriching cross-institutional academic exchange.
3 April 2025 A staff member from TAR UMT was invited by AU to serve as a guest of honour speaker at the International Conference on Media & Communication (ICMC-III), themed “Media Diversity: Social and Cultural Impact with Implementation of AI.” The conference, held in hybrid mode on 3 April 2025, provided a platform for the staff member to present his chosen topic online.
From 6 January 2025 to 17 January 2025 Under the staff exchange programme, a staff member from TAR UMT was invited to AU to conduct lessons, deliver talks, and attend relevant meetings on behalf of the university.

2024 |
6 March 2024 Representatives from AU visited TAR UMT on 6 March 2024 to further explore potential collaboration opportunities. During the visitation, TAR UMT and AU signed a Memorandum of Understanding. Both institutions were agreed to develop, promote and cooperate with one another in various activities such as: sharing of academic knowledge and best practices; staff and student engagements; and fostering partnerships and long term relationships with one another.
