CPE organized a two-week study tour from 16 June 2024 to 29 June 2024, for TAR UMT students to Dalian Neusoft University of Information, China. The tour encompassed cultural activities, workshops, and sightseeing opportunities, providing students with immersive experiences and valuable insights into Chinese culture and academic practices.

This initiative aimed to broaden students' perspectives, enhance their academic knowledge, and foster international exchange and cooperation between TAR UMT and Dalian Neusoft University of Information.

21 March 2024

Senior officials of DNUI paid a visit to TAR UMT on 21 March 2024, with the objective of delving deeper into potential collaboration opportunities and strengthening their partnership.

From 16 October to 28 October 2023

Under the Staff Exchange programme, staff from TAR UMT was invited to be the guest lecturer to deliver teaching to students at DNUI.

5 September 2023

The Staff Exchange Agreement between TAR UMT and DNUI was signed on 5 September 2023. This Agreement was signed to develop mutual cooperation, promote academic exchange as well as the exchange faculty program.

3 June 2023

The Chairman of Board of Governors, member of the Board and Senior Officials of TAR UMT visited DNUI on 3 June 2023 to explore potential collaboration in scientific research, joint-training/ joint activities for students, staff exchange and student exchange . During the visitation, both Universities had also gained an insight into future trends in education, research and innovation in China and how the universities collaborate with the industry and contribute to the wider community.

TAR UMT and DNUI also signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enable both institutions to share common and fundamental objectives of promoting and developing higher education opportunities in Malaysia and China.
