TAR UMT hosted students from JCAT for a one-semester Inbound Student Exchange Programme from 18 January to 30 May 2026, offering academic enrichment, cross-cultural experiences, and opportunities for active engagement in campus life.

Under the Student Exchange Programme, students from JCAT were pursuing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering at TAR UMT for the 202501 semester, from 3 February 2025 to 15 June 2025.

From 24 November 2024 to 30 November 2024

TAR UMT organized an outbound one-week study tour for TAR UMT students to JCAT from 24 November 2024 to 30 November 2024. During the tour, students participated in cultural activities, workshops, and sightseeing, providing them with a well-rounded experience of the local culture and environment.

14 December 2023

The Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation in Education between TAR UMT and JCAT was signed on 14 December 2023.  TAR UMT and JCAT were agreed to develop, promote and cooperate with one another in various activities such as: sharing of academic knowledge and best practices; staff and student engagements; and fostering partnerships and long term relationships with one another.

5 September 2023

Senior Officials of TAR UMT visited JXVCAT on 5 September 2023. During the visitation, both Universities had gained an insight into future trends in education, research and innovation in China and how the universities collaborate with the industry and contribute to the wider community.
