2025 |
From 25 February to 26 February 2025 TAR UMT, in collaboration with Universitas Ma Chung, Mindanao State University, and Universitas Tanjungpura, co-hosted a virtual symposium titled From Talent to Hired: A Symposium on Impressing Employers on MYFutureJobs on 25 February and 26 February 2025 via Google Meet. The event provided valuable insights into career readiness, professional certifications, and industry expectations. The symposium was organized in response to concerns among educators, employers, and career advisors about the challenges faced by fresh graduates, job seekers, and employees looking to upskill. Many struggled with crafting compelling resumes, performing well in interviews, and understanding the importance of professional accreditation in their fields. By bringing together government agencies, industry leaders, and company experts, the symposium offered participants firsthand knowledge and practical strategies to enhance their career prospects and professional skills.
