Athlone Institute of Technology and Limerick Institute of Technology merged together to form the Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest (TUS), a public technological university with six campuses across the midlands and mid-west regions of Ireland on 1 October 2021.

An online information session has been held on 9 March 2021 with the topic of “Study Experience & Securing A Career in Ireland”.

 

2018

23 March 2018

Cooperative Agreement between TAR UMT and AIT was signed on 23 March 2018 to establish an international partnership for the exclusive recognition of the TAR UMT Foundation level programmes as a qualification into first year of undergraduate programmes of study at AIT through the mutually collaborative efforts of both parties.
