2025 |
25 November 2025 Senior officials from TAR UMT visited JXVCFS on 25 November 2025. The visit aimed to continue strengthening cooperation following earlier engagements between both institutions. During the meeting, both sides exchanged updates on ongoing collaborative initiatives and discussed potential areas for further development. The visit reaffirmed the strong partnership between TAR UMT and JXVCFS and supported the continued advancement of joint academic efforts.
From 9 October 2025 to 10 October 2025 On 9 October 2025, senior officials from JXVCFS visited TAR UMT to further strengthen the collaboration between both institutions. The visit featured the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding and the unveiling of the “Overseas Skills Training Centre of JXVCFS (Malaysia)” plaque, marking another milestone following earlier initiatives in December 2024 and TAR UMT’s visit to JXVCFS in May 2025. During the visit, several activities were held, including academic talks for staff and students of FOBE and FSSH, as well as collaboration meetings with CBIEV on the iSpark International Pitching Competition (IIPC) 2025 and with FCCI on the Tiangong Project. On the following day, CBIEV organised an Industry Partner Visitation for the JXVCFS delegates to the construction and hotel & tourism sectors, providing valuable exposure to Malaysia’s industry landscape and further strengthening academic–industry collaboration.
From 15 June to 25 October 2025 TAR UMT conducted an Inbound Student Exchange Programme for students from JXVCFS. A total of 3 students joined the June 2025 semester at TAR UMT, with a programme duration from 15 June to 25 October 2025. During the programme, each student undertook courses amounting to 12 credit hours, which were transferred back to their Bachelor’s Degree programme at CDNU.
20 May 2025 On 20 May 2025, senior officials from TAR UMT visited JXCFS to further strengthen the growing collaboration between the two institutions. The visit included discussions on enhancing existing initiatives such as staff and student exchanges, as well as exploring new opportunities for academic and cultural cooperation. The TAR UMT delegation also toured key facilities at JXCFS, reaffirming the mutual commitment to deepening educational ties and fostering cross-cultural understanding.

2024 |
19 December 2024 On 19 December 2024, an online inauguration ceremony was held to mark the launch of two significant collaborative projects between JXCFS and TAR UMT. The projects included the establishment of the "Tiangong Workshop" at JXCFS and the "Language Exchange Center" at TAR UMT. These initiatives aimed to foster greater educational and cultural exchange between China and Malaysia, enhancing mutual understanding and cooperation between the institutions.
From 25 November 2024 to 6 December 2024 Under the Staff Exchange programme, staff from the JXCFS was invited to be the guest lecturer to deliver teaching to students at TAR UMT.
From 12 November 2024 to 18 November 2024 TAR UMT organized a one-week outbound study tour for TAR UMT students to JXCFS from 12 November to 18 November 2024. During the tour, students participated in cultural activities, workshops, and sightseeing, providing them with a well-rounded experience of the local culture and environment.
From 16 September to 22 September 2024 TAR UMT organized a one-week study tour for international students from JXCFS, scheduled from 16 September to 22 September 2024. During this tour, the students engaged in cultural activities, participated in English workshops, enjoyed fun sessions with Bahasa Melayu, and took part in various cultural workshops and sightseeing activities. |

2023 |
4 September 2023 Senior Officials of TAR UMT visited JXCFS on 4 September 2023. During the visitation, both Universities had gained an insight into future trends in education, research and innovation in China and how the universities collaborate with the industry and contribute to the wider community. 20 June 2023 TAR UMT Lecturer was invited by Jiangxi College of Foreign Studies to deliver a captivating talk titled "New Era, New Opportunities, and New Corporation" in the Cross-Border E-Commerce Industry Development and Talent Cultivation Seminar held on 20 June 2023. |
