2025 |
25 November 2025 Senior officials from TAR UMT visited JJVU on 25 November 2025. Both sides held discussions on areas of mutual interest and explored possibilities for future collaboration. On the same day, a Letter of Intent on the Establishment of an Overseas Training Hub of the Wanli Tea Culture Centre between JJVU and TAR UMT was signed. The visit helped reinforce the relationship between the two institutions and laid a solid foundation for further academic engagement and cooperation.
From 20 October to 26 October 2025 TAR UMT organised a one-week study tour to JJVU from 20 to 26 October 2025. During the tour, students participated in local cultural activities, hands-on workshops, and sightseeing visits, gaining valuable exposure to Chinese culture and learning experiences.
From 4 August 2025 to 14 August 2025 Under the staff exchange programme, five staff members from JJVU visited TAR UMT from 4 August to 14 August 2025. During the visit, one of them conducted a Tea Art Workshop for Hospitality and Tourism students, members of the TAR UMT Chinese Language Society, as well as other staff and students who had registered for the workshop.
11 January 2025 to 17 January 2025 TAR UMT organized a one-week study tour for international students from Jiujiang Vocational University, China, from 11 January 2025 to 17 January 2025. During the tour, the students participated in cultural activities, an English workshop, a "Fun with Bahasa Melayu" workshop, a cultural workshop, and sightseeing activities.

2024 |
26 July 2024 to 23 August 2024 TAR UMT organized a 7-day and a 29-day English program for international students from JJVU from 26 July 2024 to 23 August 2024. The program included cultural activities, English workshops, student interaction activities, and sightseeing opportunities.
19 March 2024 Senior officials from TAR UMT visited JJVU on 19 March 2024, to discuss potential collaboration in scientific research, joint training for students, staff exchange, and student exchange programs.

2023 |
14 December 2023 On 14 December 2023, JJVU visited TAR UMT in Malaysia to explore possibilities of collaboration. During the visit, both institutions agreed to establish the Technologists Training Centre of JJVU within TAR UMT's campus. This partnership opens doors for enhanced vocational education and technological training opportunities for students and faculty alike. 3 November 2023 The Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation in Education between TAR UMT and JJVU was signed on 3 November 2023. TAR UMT and JJVU were agreed to develop, promote and cooperate with one another in various activities such as: sharing of academic knowledge and best practices; staff and student engagements; and fostering partnerships and long term relationships with one another.
