On 12 August 2025, TAR UMT and XHU signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen collaboration in education, research, student and staff exchanges, and academic programme development. 

On the same day, TAR UMT, XHU, and LX Educational Service Center (M) Sdn Bhd (LXESC) signed a Project Agreement to provide a pathway for bachelor’s degree holders from China to pursue TAR UMT’s MBA and MAF programmes, aiming to meet the growing demand for high-end financial accounting talents.

From 10 June 2024 to 15 June 2024

From 10 June 2024 to 15 June 2024, TAR UMT officials visited Xihua University in China. The purpose of this visit was to explore potential academic and research collaborations, as well as opportunities for staff and student exchange programs. Discussions were held to identify areas of mutual interest and to lay the groundwork for future joint initiatives between Xihua University and TAR UMT.
