9 December 2025

Senior officials from SDIVC visited TAR UMT on 9 December 2025 to further explore opportunities for collaboration, including student and staff exchanges, joint research and scholarly activities, and potential academic programme partnerships.

 

From 1 November 2025 to 28 February 2026

A visiting scholar from SDIVC was invited to TAR UMT for a three-month attachment (November 2025–February 2026) to advance collaboration in solid-state and semi-solid battery research.

The visit included a colloquium on advanced NASICON electrolytes and engagement sessions with the University of Nottingham Malaysia and Xiamen University Malaysia, resulting in a joint grant submission. A three-month Master’s internship (March–June 2026) under joint supervision further strengthened research collaboration, postgraduate supervision, and mobility initiatives in advanced battery materials.

25 October 2024

Following the visit by senior officials from SDIVC on 22 October 2024, TAR UMT and SDIVC signed a Note of Understanding on 25 October 2024. .

Senior officials from SDIVC visited TAR UMT on 22 October 2024 to discuss on student exchange, staff exchange, collaboration on research/ scholarly activities, academic programme collaboration and etc.
