2025 |
9 December 2025 Senior officials from SDIVC visited TAR UMT on 9 December 2025 to further explore opportunities for collaboration, including student and staff exchanges, joint research and scholarly activities, and potential academic programme partnerships.
From 1 November 2025 to 28 February 2026 A visiting scholar from SDIVC was invited to TAR UMT for a three-month attachment (November 2025–February 2026) to advance collaboration in solid-state and semi-solid battery research. The visit included a colloquium on advanced NASICON electrolytes and engagement sessions with the University of Nottingham Malaysia and Xiamen University Malaysia, resulting in a joint grant submission. A three-month Master’s internship (March–June 2026) under joint supervision further strengthened research collaboration, postgraduate supervision, and mobility initiatives in advanced battery materials.

2024 |
25 October 2024 Following the visit by senior officials from SDIVC on 22 October 2024, TAR UMT and SDIVC signed a Note of Understanding on 25 October 2024. .
