Senior Officials from GXSTNU revisited TAR UMT on 17 October 2024 to follow up on the discussions from their previous visit on 27 May 2024, which covered student exchange, staff exchange, collaboration on research and scholarly activities, and academic program collaboration.

Three students from TAR UMT formed a team to participate in the China International College Student Innovation Competition 2024, organized by Guangxi Science and Technology Normal University In between 1 August 2024 and 31 October 2024. They were required to submit a business proposal and record a 1-minute video presentation.

Officials from GXSTNU visited TAR UMT on 27 May 2024 to discuss on student exchange, staff exchange, collaboration on research/ scholarly activities, academic programme collaboration and etc.

7 June 2023

The Chairman of Board of Governors, member of the Board and Senior Officials of TAR UMT visited GSTNU on 7 June 2023 to explore potential collaboration in scientific research, joint-training/ joint activities for students, staff exchange and student exchange . During the visitation, both Universities had also gained an insight into future trends in education, research and innovation in China and how the universities collaborate with the industry and contribute to the wider community.

TAR UMT and GSTNU also signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enable both institutions to share common and fundamental objectives of promoting and developing higher education opportunities in Malaysia and China.
