2025 |
From 10 July to 14 November 2025 From 10 July to 14 November 2025, a team of four TAR UMT students took part in the World Vocational College Skills Competition (WVCSC) China 2025, held online in collaboration with GZPC. Competing in the BIM category, they showcased their skills in 3D modelling using BIM software, demonstrating TAR UMT’s commitment to international collaboration and excellence in digital construction.
From 7 June to 15 June 2025 From 7 to 15 June 2025, under the Staff Exchange Programme, a staff member from TAR UMT visited GZPC as a guest lecturer. During the visit, the staff member conducted teaching sessions for GZPC students and shared teaching experiences with GZPC lecturers, strengthening academic exchange and collaboration between both institutions.
28 May 2025 On 28 May 2025, senior officials from GZPC visited TAR UMT. The visit included the Signing Ceremony of the Framework Agreement on International Educational Cooperation and the Unveiling of the Commemorative Plaque. The event marked a strengthened partnership between TAR UMT and GZPC, aimed at enhancing academic collaboration, staff and student mobility, and joint programme development.
From 20 April to 26 April 2025 Under the Staff Exchange Programme, a staff member from GZPC was invited as a guest lecturer from 20 to 26 April 2025 to teach students at TAR UMT and share teaching experiences with TAR UMT lecturers.

2024 |
26 November 2024 The Staff Exchange Agreement between TAR UMT and GZPC was signed on 26 November 2024. This Agreement was signed to develop mutual cooperation, promote academic exchange as well as the exchange faculty program.
From 20 August to 24 August 2024 TAR UMT students and staff from FOBE have won first prize in the 2024 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week sub-events, specifically the Zhi & Xing Guizhou Silk Road Youth Exchange Programme and the BIM Programme Competition. This event was organized by GZPC and took place from 20 August to 24 August 2024.

2023 |
30 August 2023 Senior Officials of TAR UMT visited GZPC on 30 August 2023. During the visitation, both Universities had gained an insight into future trends in education, research and innovation in China and how the universities collaborate with the industry and contribute to the wider community.
