Two students and one lecturer from TAR UMT participated in the Yamagata University Summer Program 2024, held from 20 August 2024 to 26 August 2024. The program offered an immersive experience in Japanese culture and university life while raising awareness about global natural disasters, providing valuable insights and learning opportunities for the participants.

Under the Staff Exchange programme, staff from the TAR UMT  was invited to be the guest lecturer to deliver teaching to students at Yamagata University.

From 24 September to 30 September 2023

Under the Staff Exchange programme, staff from the Yamagata University was invited to be the guest lecturer to deliver teaching to students at TAR UMT.

20 December 2022

The Memorandum of Understanding and Student Exchange Agreement between Faculty of Applied Sciences, TAR UMT and Faculty of Engineering, Yamagata University was signed on 20 December 2022. Both Agreements were signed to promote development and friendship between the two universities via international cooperation in education and research.
