TAR UMT organized a seven-day study tour for lecturers from GUFE, China, from 16 February 2025 to 22 February 2025. During the tour, the lecturers participated in cultural activities, workshops, symposium, and sightseeing activities.

From 17 February 2025 to 22 February 2025

Under the Student Mobility Programme, a group of four academic staff and five students from GUFE visited TAR UMT from 17 to 22 February 2025. During their visit, they had the opportunity to participate in various workshops organized by TAR UMT and attended the CMCR 2025 Symposium, gaining valuable academic and experiential insights.

From 11 June 2024 to  21 June 2024

From 11 June 2024 to 21 June 2024, students and academic staff from FCCI embarked on a transformative 10-day study tour at GUFE in China. This program facilitated a rich exchange between TAR UMT and GUFE, focusing on professional enhancement and mutual learning opportunities for both teachers and students. GUFE graciously hosted TAR UMT, providing a platform for collaborative activities aimed at fostering academic growth and cultural understanding among participants.

28 October 2023 to 26 November 2023

TAR UMT and GUFE collaborated for the 2023 Future Exhibition held between 28 October 2023 and 26 November 2023. This marked the 8th consecutive year of a joint exhibition among Guangdong Province universities and their overseas partners, showcasing graduate projects in architecture and environmental art design.

The Chairman of Board of Governors, member of the Board and Senior Officials of TAR UMT visited GUFE on 29 May 2023 to explore potential collaboration in scientific research, joint-training/ joint activities for students , staff exchange and student exchange . During the visitation, both Universities had also gained an insight into future trends in education, research and innovation in China and how the universities collaborate with the industry and contribute to the wider community.
