Associate Professor Dr. Devi Fitrianah from BINUS visited TAR UMT on 7 July 2022 to join the Machine Learning Seminar.  She co-presented a talk entitled "A Density-Cube Based Spatio Temporal Clustering Method" with Dr. Lim Siew Mooi from TAR UMT to  the students at TAR UMT.

The Addendum of Student & Faculty Exchange Agreement between TAR UMT and BINUS was signed on 28 June 2022.

31 May 2022

The Chairman of Board of Governors, member of the Board and Senior Officials of TAR UMT visited BINUS on 31 May 2022. During the visitation, both Universities had gained an insight into future trends in education, research and innovation in Indonesia and how the universities collaborate with the industry and contribute to the wider community. Both Universities also had a sharing session on effective governance and long-term sustainability of universities.

Staff from the Faculty of Accountancy, Finance and Business of TAR UMT visited BINUS on 22 April 2022 to promote international understanding, scholarly and collaboration, cultural interaction and friendship between the two universities.

An online lecture, “Options and their use in hedging Financial Aids” was presented by Dr Citra Amanda from BINUS to the finance students of TAR UMT on 10 September 2021.

An online talk collaborated between TAR UMT and BINUS were held with the title of the “International Business Models for a post Covid-19 World” between 29 July 2021 and 30 July 2021.

From 25 June to 27 June 2021

In conjunction with the silver jubilee marks the 25th anniversary of BINUS at accounting, an International Accounting Competition collaborated between TAR UMT and BINUS were held on 25 June 2021 via Zoom.

8 June 2020

A virtual discussion via Zoom between BINUS and TAR UMT was held on 8 June 2020. This discussion was to explore the possibility of having a joint project between BINUS and TAR UMT Accounting students (Bachelor Degree year 2 or Year 3, not final year students), and have joint lecturers from both institutions to guide them.

15 students from BINUS attended the International Student Conference organized by TAR UMT between 23 October 2019 and 26 October 2019.

The second SEAITE Symposium 2019 was held at Swissotel Bangkok Ratchala, Thailand. Over the two days between 23 October 2019 and 24 October 2019, two of our staff (i.e. Assoc. Prof. Say Sook Kwan and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Oo Pou San) were engaged as instructors sharing their ideas on how might entrepreneurship education support socio-economic development in the 4.0 era.

9 August 2019

The Memorandum of Understanding between TAR UMT and BINUS was signed on 9 August 2019. The MOU was signed to explore common and fundamental objectives and benefits thereto in the field of Engineering.

The first SEAITE Symposium 2018 was held at Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology KL Main Campus. Over two days between 8 October 2018 and 9 October 2018, the symposium witnessed 12 speakers from six countries sharing their ideas on how enterprise and entrepreneurship can support sustainable economic growth in Southeast Asia.
