From 28 June to 2 July 2026

TAR UMT hosted six students and three chaperones from Guizhou Electronic Commerce Vocational College, China, for a five-day study tour from 28 June to 2 July 2026.

Throughout the programme, the participants took part in various academic and cultural activities, which provided them with valuable exposure to the learning environment and campus life at TAR UMT. The study tour also served as a meaningful platform to foster international engagement and strengthen the connection between TAR UMT and Guizhou Electronic Commerce Vocational College.

Senior Officials from Guizhou Electronic Commerce Vocational College visited TAR UMT on 23 June 2025 to further explore potential collaboration opportunities.

During the visitation, TAR UMT and Guizhou Electronic Commerce Vocational College signed a Memorandum of Understanding. Both institutions were agreed to develop, promote and cooperate with one another in various activities such as: sharing of academic knowledge and best practices; staff and student engagements; and fostering partnerships and long term relationships with one another.
