19 August to 1 September 2025

From 19 August to 1 September 2025, TAR UMT organised a two-week study tour for international students from the LPU. The programme was designed to provide students with academic exposure, cultural experiences, and opportunities for personal development through a variety of activities, workshops, and sightseeing visits.

As part of the programme, a Stress Management Workshop was held on 22 August 2025 to help students learn practical techniques for managing stress during their academic journey. The session combined intrapersonal and interpersonal communication elements and included interactive activities to make learning more engaging.

On 26 August 2025, TAR UMT also organised a Malaysia Delicacy Workshop, where students experienced hands-on culinary activities, learned about traditional Malaysian delicacies, and gained a deeper appreciation of Malaysian culture.

The study tour provided the visiting students with a rich blend of academic learning, cultural exchange, and memorable experiences, while also strengthening international collaboration between TAR UMT and LPU.

23 May 2024

On 23 May 2024, senior management from TAR UMT visited LPU to strengthen their collaborative efforts. Building upon previous discussions, both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to academic exchange, joint research, and faculty development initiatives. The visit emphasized the shared vision of fostering excellence in education and cross-cultural understanding, culminating in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding. As the delegation departed, they left behind a foundation for deeper engagement and continued partnership between TAR UMT and LPU.

19 September 2023

Representatives from LPU visited TAR UMT on 19 September 2023 to further explore potential collaboration opportunities.

During the visitation, TAR UMT and LPU signed a Memorandum of Understanding. Both institutions were agreed to develop, promote and cooperate with one another in various activities such as: sharing of academic knowledge and best practices; staff and student engagements; and fostering partnerships and long term relationships with one another.
