1 October 2021

Athlone Institute of Technology and Limerick Institute of Technology merged together to form the Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest (TUS), a public technological university with six campuses across the midlands and mid-west regions of Ireland on 1 October 2021.

21 March 2021

An online information session has been held on 21 March 2021 with the topic of “Work To Pay for Your Own Tuition Fee Abroad (Part-time Job & Scholarship”.

2020

17 November 2020

An academic talk: Study in Ireland, the Silicon Valley of Europe was held on 17 November 2020.

The talk was to introduce LIT as a study destination, and the integrated work placement opportunities in LIT in technological subjects for TAR UMT graduates in all levels of academic studies.

 

25 October 2020

An academic talk: Integrated Work Placement in Ireland was held on 25 October 2020.

The talk was to introduce LIT as a study destination, and the integrated work placement opportunities in LIT for TAR UMT graduates in all levels of academic studies.

 

2018

11 July 2018

The Articulation Agreement between TAR UMT and LIT was signed on 11 July 2018. The agreement was signed to co-operate to ensure the graduates of TAR UMT programmes in Annexure 1 have access to the respective programmes at LIT in the same Annexure 1 hereto; avoiding unnecessary obstructions, but nonetheless subject to the highest relevant academic standards.

 

2016

28 July 2016

The Inter-Institutional Agreement 2016-2017 between Institutions from Programme and Partner Countries. This agreement was signed to cooperate for the exchange of students and/ or staff in the context of the Erasmus+ programme.
