TAR UMT hosted students from AdU for a one-semester Inbound Industrial Practical Programme from 20 January to 10 July 2026, with attachments at Mercure Living Putrajaya and ibis Styles Sepang KLIA, where they gained hands-on industry experience and professional exposure.

21 April 2025

A staff member from TAR UMT was invited to deliver a keynote address at Sustainathon: Code for a Sustainable Metro Manila, a week-long online Environmental Innovation Sprint organised by the Adamson University Computer Science Society (ACOMSS), which began on 21 April 2025. The event brought together Computer Science students to develop innovative technological solutions to address environmental challenges in Metro Manila, such as flooding, waste management, and air quality.

The keynote session focused on the role of the Information Technology sector in advancing sustainability through innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration. It aimed to inspire participants to become proactive problem-solvers and to recognise their potential contributions as future IT professionals committed to environmental responsibility.

From 9 February 2025 to 3 July 2025

TAR UMT was hosting students from AdU for the Industrial Practical Mobility programme in the hospitality industry from 9 February 2025 to 3 July 2025. Throughout the programme, TAR UMT was coordinating with employers to secure internship placements and was managing logistical arrangements, including student visa applications.

2024

20 May 2024

Senior management from TAR UMT visited AdU on 20 May 2024 to further solidify their collaboration following the MoU signed on 18 September 2023. This visit focused on reviewing progress and discussing new initiatives for sharing academic knowledge, enhancing staff and student engagement, and fostering long-term partnerships. Both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to mutual growth and cooperation.

From 9 May 2024 to 10 May 2024

Dr. Farha Alia and Mr. Nor Ahmar, academic staff from TAR UMT, presented at the 1st CBA International Business Conference organized by AdU, held from 9 May to 10 May 2024. The conference was conducted in a hybrid mode, with both presenters delivering their presentations via Zoom, showcasing their expertise and contributing to the international academic discourse.

From 24 March 2024 to 27 September 2024

As part of the Inbound Industrial Practical Mobility Programme, TAR UMT's CPE and FSSH are facilitating the participation of a group comprising 13 students and 3 chaperones from Adamson University in the Industrial Practical Mobility programme, where they will engage with esteemed local companies.

7 December 2023

TAR UMT collaborated with AdU for the Research Colloquium titled 'Mind Meets Heart,' held on 7 December 2023. The event provided a platform for six students to present their final year project findings, fostering the exchange of valuable information within the field of psychology..

18 September 2023

Representatives from AdU visited TAR UMT on 18 September 2023 to further explore potential collaboration opportunities.

During the visitation, TAR UMT and AdU signed a Memorandum of Understanding. Both institutions were agreed to develop, promote and cooperate with one another in various activities such as: sharing of academic knowledge and best practices; staff and student engagements; and fostering partnerships and long term relationships with one another.
