Under the Staff Exchange programme, staff from the TAR UMT  was invited to be the guest lecturer to deliver teaching to students at Yantai University.

Under the staff exchange agreement, staff from Yantai University engaged in research activities with staff from TAR UMT, while staff members from Yantai University delivered one or two lecture sessions to TAR UMT students.

20 July 2023

The Staff Exchange Agreement between TAR UMT and Yantai University was signed on 20 July 2023. This Agreement was signed to develop mutual cooperation, promote academic exchange as well as the exchange faculty program.

From 3 July to 16 November 2023

Students from Yantai University visited TAR UMT to promote international understanding, scholarly and collaboration, cultural interaction and friendship between the two universities.

2022

6 June 2022

Following the Memorandum of Understanding signed on 8 April 2022, Yantai University and TAR UMT have signed the Student Exchange Agreement and the Agreement of Joint PhD Supervision in Mathematical Sciences, Information Technology and Computer Science programme on 6 June 2022.

The School of Mathematics  and Information Science and the School of Computer and Control Engineering of YTU would work together with the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology (FOCS) and the Centre for Postgraduate Studies and Research (CPSR) of TAR UMT.

8 April 2022

The Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation in Education between TAR UMT and Yantai University was signed virtually on 8 April 2022. The Memorandum of Understanding enables both Universities to enable the Parties to share common and fundamental objectives of promoting and developing higher education opportunities in the Parties states.
