On 28 January 2026, TAR UMT collaborated with staff from DBS Global University to conduct a joint online teaching session on Automation and AI Adoption in Finance. The session exposed students to current industry developments, covering topics such as AI in financial decision-making, automating finance activities, applying AI finance tools, and enhancing productivity with AI.

Senior officials from DBS Global University visited TAR UMT on 30 September 2024 to further explore potential collaboration opportunities.

During the visitation, TAR UMT and DBS Global University signed a Memorandum of Understanding. Both institutions were agreed to develop, promote and cooperate with one another in various activities such as: sharing of academic knowledge and best practices; staff and student engagements; and fostering partnerships and long term relationships with one another.
