On 14 December 2023, JEEVC visited TAR UMT in Malaysia to explore possibilities of collaboration. During the visit, both institutions agreed to establish the Innovation and Venture Practice Base of JXEEVC within TAR UMT's campus. This partnership aims to provide enhanced vocational education and technological training opportunities for students and faculty alike.

Senior Officials of TAR UMT visited JXEEVC on 7 September 2023 to further explore potential collaboration opportunities.

During the visitation, TAR UMT and JXEEVC signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation in Education. Both institutions were agreed to develop, promote and cooperate with one another in various activities such as: sharing of academic knowledge and best practices; staff and student engagements; and fostering partnerships and long term relationships with one another.
