20 December 2019 UJN visited TAR UMT on 20 December 2019 to further explore on student exchange, staff exchange, collaboration on research/scholarly activities, academic programme collaboration and etc.
October 2019 TAR UMT visited UJN in October 2019 to promote international understanding, scholarly and collaboration, cultural interaction and friendship between the two universities.

12 November 2018 The Memorandum of Understanding between TAR UMT and UJN was signed on 12 November 2018 at TAR UMT. The Memorandum of Understanding enables both TAR UMT and UJN to share common and fundamental objectives of promoting and developing higher education opportunities in Malaysia and China.
