2025 |
From 7 July 2025 to 12 July 2025 TAR UMT organised a six-day customised study tour for international students from VLU. The programme, held from 7 July 2025 to 12 July 2025, included a cross-cultural workshop, a stress management workshop, and company visits.
10 May 2025 VLU collaborated with TAR UMT to deliver an online programme titled "Social Media Performance Tracking & Competitor Analysis" on 10 May 2025. Aimed at enhancing students’ career prospects in digital marketing, the programme equipped participants with essential skills to analyse social media performance and evaluate competitors effectively. Through a combination of practical experience, expert insights, and academic guidance, students gained valuable knowledge to thrive in today’s competitive digital landscape.
3 May 2025 VLU collaborated with TAR UMT to deliver an online programme titled "The Art of Storytelling" on 3 May 2025. Designed to enhance students’ career prospects in digital marketing, the programme equipped participants with relevant storytelling skills through a blend of practical experience, industry insights, and academic support. The initiative provided a valuable platform for students to strengthen their communication abilities and prepare for success in the digital landscape.

2024 |
19 November 2024 and 28 November 2024 As part of the staff exchange program, a guest lecturer from TAR UMT was invited to conduct online sessions with students at VLU on 19 November 2024 and 28 November 2024.
26 July 2024 The International Scientific Conference: Mental Health in the Digital Age, co-organized by Van Lang University and TAR UMT, was held in hybrid mode. The conference, which focused on psychology, education, and social work, featured nearly 200 online and 300 in-person delegates from countries including Vietnam, India, and Japan. Keynote addresses were delivered by Dr. Nguyen Bao Thanh Nghi from Van Lang University, Prof. Dr. Loke Chui Fung from TAR UMT, and Dr. Ines Danao from Lourdes College. The event included presentations from 15 speakers on global mental health issues, including a study by Dr. Law Mei Yui on “Psychological Distress, Perceived Social Support, and Well-Being.
10 January 2024 TAR UMT visited VLU on 10 January 2024 to discuss on student exchange, staff exchange, collaboration on research/ scholarly activities, academic programme collaboration and etc.

24 May 2023 The Memorandum of Understanding between TAR UMT and VLU was signed on 24 May 2023. The Memorandum of Understanding enables both Universities to share common and fundamental objectives of promoting and developing higher education opportunities in both countries.
