Course Objective
This course is designed to:
- Enable TVET students to access TAR UMT Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FOET) programmes.
- Provide a comprehensive introduction to the fundamental principles of physics.
- Bridge the gap between secondary education and university-level science studies.
- Cover key topics such as force and motion, pressure, heat, electricity, and electromagnetism.
- Develop students’ strong foundation in both theoretical concepts and practical problem-solving skills.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
1) Identify fundamental physics concepts related to engineering technology.
2) Interpret fundamental physics problems.
3) Explain physics concepts through experiment.
