The Tekla Structure Foundation Level course strives to ground participants with the basics in BIM. It drives more detail and data into structural BIM workflows for a deeper understanding of designs at every phase. Besides the different functionality and configurations of Tekla Structures, participants will also be trained in basic skills to create basic 3D models and produce fabrication information.

Ng Teck Wei

 Ts. Ng Teck Wei holds a Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) from University Tunku Abdul Rahman. He obtained his Master in Engineering (Civil) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Ts. Ng Teck Wei is a registered Professional Technologist under Malaysia Board of Technologists and currently a Council member of Construction Institute of Building (CIOB) Malaysia. He is a Tekla Structure Advanced level certified, BIM modeler (Architectural and Structure) CIDB certified and BIM Manager CIDB certified. Ts. Ng Teck Wai has around 2 years of experiences in the industry and 7 years of experience teaching Construction Management courses. He is presently the Lecturer at the Department of Construction Management at Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT).

Poo Teng Soo

Ts. Poo Teng Soo holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Civil Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia. He is a registered Professional Technologist and also a registered ASEAN Engineering Technologist for AFEO. Ts Poo is currently a Council member of Technological Association Malaysia. Tekla Structure Advanced level certified, BIM modeler (Architectural and Structure) CIDB certified. He has more than 20 years of experiences in the industry and actively involved in the Malaysia Construction industries and also the education industries.

Tee Hooi Kee

Ts. Tee Hooi Kee obtained her Master of Science in Construction Management from Loughborough University, UK. She holds the Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Technology (Building) from Tunku Abdul Rahman College. She is also a registered Professional Technologist under Malaysia Board of Technologists, BIM Modeller (Architecture and Structure) CIDB certified as well as completed the Tekla Structures Advanced Training. Currently, she is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Construction Management in the Faculty of Built Environment at Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT). She has many years of experience in teaching construction management courses since 2004.
