Module 1: Strategic and Human Resource Management
- Discuss the theoretical concepts underlying the strategic importance and management of human resources in an organisation.
- Differentiate approaches and methods of managing human resource practices in an organisation.
- Develop an ability to undertake research in the field of strategic human resource management.
Module 2: Economics and International Marketing
- Analyse changes occuring within the global economy and trading conditions, governments' policies and critically assess their impact upon business organisations in international business activities.
- Recommend methods for a firm to achieve its objectives in the competitive global business environments.
- Evaluate global business opportunities by using relevant business theories, concepts and models.
Module 3: Accounting and Finance for Managers
- Evaluate basic accounting procedures and systems.
- Explain and apply the conceptual framework and IASs/IFRSs in the preparation and presentation of financial statements.
- Prepare financial statements of different types of organisations.
- Analyse financial performance and financial position through accounting ratios.
Module 4: Information Systems and Technology
- Examine the concepts and approaches in implementing appropriate information systems and technology to achieve competitive advantage for organisations.
Discuss ethical and social impact of information systems and technology implementation in business organisations.
- Evaluate the impacts of information systems and technology on business environment and organisations.
