The study of science allows us to understand better the history of the natural world and how the natural world is working, with observable physical evidence as the basis of that understanding. It is done through observation of natural phenomena and through experimentation that tries to simulate the natural processes under controlled conditions. The applied science will then apply these scientific knowledges to develop practical applications for the advancement of humanity, such as new technologies or inventions.
The study of life science lends important insights into disease processes, and allows the development of novel therapeutics and innovative medical devices, thereby directly improving human health. The life science also enable an understanding of the environment and the other living species with whom we share the earth, this knowledge guides conservation efforts and literally helps us to save our shared planet.
A Master degree in engineering provides graduates with advanced analytical skills and technology literacy to conduct research through the pursuit of specialized study in either Materials, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Telecommunication, Electrical & Electronics engineering. Graduates develop an objective approach to problem identification and solution with real-world problems while communicating their findings to the scientific community as well as industrial professionals.
The master by research programmes will commence in May and October each year. The timeline for online application is usually 3 months for Malaysian and 6 months for the international students before the commencement date. Please click on the following link to complete your online application.
