Programme Overview:

For research areas relating to biology, biochemistry and environmental science. The in-depth study of life science leads important insights into disease processes, and allows the development of novel therapeutics and innovative medical devices, thereby directly improving human health. The life science also enable an understanding of the environment and the other living species with whom we share the earth, this knowledge guides conservation efforts and literally helps us to save our planet.

Part time (Malaysian students ONLY) - 4 years

Minimum Entry Requirements

  • A Master's Degree accepted by the Senate; OR
  • Other qualifications equivalent to a Master's Degree that are accepted by the Senate

     

English Language Requirements

Malaysian Students

  • MUET Band 3.5 or IELTS Band 5.0 or CEFR High B1 or TOEFL iBT 40 or equivalent; OR
  • Exemption of English Language requirement if medium of instruction during Master studies was in English

International Students

  • IELTS Band 5.0 or CEFR High B1 or TOEFL iBT 40 or equivalent; OR
  • Exemption of English Language requirement if medium of instruction during Master studies was in English
