The Faculty of Communication & Creative Industries catalyses experiential learning with theoretical foundation via its distinctive programmes in communication and creative disciplines. Being committed to educational excellence, we believe in and deliver academic knowledge and hands-on competencies that build employable Degree  and Diploma graduates.

Our conducive and participative teaching environment helps broaden students’ know-how and deepen their interests in the learning progress, culminating in embracing the ever-changing needs of future industries, technologies and global community.

The Faculty has a vibrant community in which we nurture our students and staff to the next level.  We strive to push the limits and be leaders in our fields through the cooperative effort of our educators and students via real-life campaigns, industry linkages and competitions.

The faculty fervently believes that CRITICALITY in thinking and vision builds the basis for CREATIVITY, combined to benefit the COMMUNITY via ideation, production, awareness and action.

       Message from the Dean 

You’ve left the comfort of your home to this cradle of education, and I welcome all of you to the Faculty of Communication & Creative Industries (FCCI).

At FCCI, we build an educational platform for you that cultivates a path toward the future, with youthful optimism and anticipation to scale new heights, because we are here with you all to create a generation of graduates imbued with knowledge, intellect and experiential skills fit for the communication and creative industries.

Our industry-relevant programmes are delivered by a team of well-qualified and dedicated academicians who are drivers of our students’ achievement. Each member of our staff believes they hold a big responsibility to guide and mentor each student to meet their personal and career challenges. Our courses are designed to reflect industry requirements as we prepare students for the dynamic and challenging professional work environment via state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.

It is our hope to see our students grow in professional know-how and interpersonal well-being too while they are here at TAR UMT, and to become successful and responsible individuals in the future.
