Career Path and Biography
After graduation, IBM recruited me as a network engineer. Throughout my 4 years tenure with IBM, I completed my professional-level Cisco and Juniper Networks certifications. As an IBM network engineer, I held various responsibilities. One of my tasks would be performing pre-sales activities such as technical requirements gathering and verification with customers. Moreover, I am part of the project rollout team. I have had projects for large enterprises and government bodies that focus on several key network aspects: unified communications (UC), enterprise switching, enterprise & carrier-grade routing and security. Technical competence can greatly be improved by the field experience. On my last year with IBM, I was elected to be the team lead for the network team.
In late 2014, I have joined Juniper Networks - #1 innovator in the networking industry. Being a system engineer in Juniper Networks, I am required to educate partners and customers on latest offerings. In addition, I constantly collaborate with partners to deliver the best solution that fits to the customer needs. Exciting and challenging tasks that appeared day to day pushed me to greater heights. In addition, I am a switching specialist for the Juniper Networks ASEAN team. It is my obligation to offer recommendations and advices to colleagues who require technical assistance. Last but not least, being a system engineer in the network innovator of the industry, I am proud to lead and propagate the networking trends to the customers in ASEAN region.
