Diploma in Technology (Telecommunications)

Telecommunications engineering programme develops engineers to work at the cutting edge of the communications industry, with emphasis on technologies for mobile and broadband communication. This programme enables students to build on a common engineering foundation in electronics, mathematics and computing with specialist courses that covers networking security, digital communications, signal processing, high frequency circuits, mobile devices, RF Systems Design, Optical, wireless and satellite communications.

Career Prospects:
Upon completion of the programmes, graduates can embark on career paths such as: RF engineering – plan and design mobile radio network. R&D hardware engineer, RF test/product engineer, and application engineer – perform characterisation and testing of design prototypes, analysis and validation of design to meet product performance specifications.
