TAR UC marked its first academic collaboration with Cyprus by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (‘MoU’) with European University Cyprus (‘EUC’) on 6 December 2021 in a virtual signing ceremony.

“Today is an important day for our relatively young but dynamic institution and I am especially pleased and looking forward to the mutual benefits we will achieve through collaboration, research and innovation after the formalisation of this MoU,” commented by Prof Andreas Eftathiou, Rector of EUC in his opening speech.

“This academic collaboration truly reflects our common goal to share new knowledge and skills through international mobility programmes,” said Prof Ir Dr Lee Sze Wei, President of TAR UC prior to signing the MoU.

“I am glad that we have this opportunity to share and understand each other better and I am confident that our shared vision to create meaningful international partnerships as well as identify the potential to engage in collaborative efforts would definitely bring mutual benefits to our staff and students alike.”

The MoU was signed by both Prof Andreas Eftathiou and Prof Ir Dr Lee Sze Wei and witnessed by the representatives from both institutions.
